Youth Volleyball Camp

Where: Manchester Recreation Center

The Manchester Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting a coed youth volleyball camp.  Camp will be July 23 - 27. Children in grades 2nd - 5th will have camp from 8:00 am - 11:00 am, and children in grades 6th - 8th grades will have camp from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm.  Campers will learn the proper fundamentals of volleyball.  The cost to participate in camp is $50.00 per child. Park Partners "Let's All Play" Golf Scramble

Where: Willowbrook Golf Club

Join us on Friday, July 27, at Willowbrook Golf Club for the Park Partners “Let’s All Play” Golf Scramble.  Funds raised at this event will be used to provide an all-inclusive playground for children with special needs.  Fees are $75 for non-members of Willowbrook Golf Club and $45 for members. Judging starts at 9 a.m. and the winners are announced at 11:30 a.m.

8th Annual Unite Conference

Where: Cedar Lane Church of Christ

The Coffee County Anti-Drug Coalition and the Coffee County Children's Advocacy Canter are proud to host the 2018 UNITE Conference. This is a free continuum of care training event dedicated to increasing evidenced-based knowledge of community-based practices that build stronger families and communities.

Hospice of the Highland Rim Foundation 5K Turkey Trot

Where: Tim's Ford State Park

Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome to participate! Easy to moderate out and back paved trail.

Individual entry fee is $35 and $100 for up to five individuals.

To be guaranteed a timing chip and t-shirt you must mail registration by
Friday, October 12, 2018 or register online at
Applications may also be picked up at Tim’s Ford Visitor’s Center.

Winners will be awarded post-race at the recreation hall.
Light snacks and drinks will be provided for all participants!

Proceeds from this event goes towards assisting hospice patients in
Bedford, Cannon, Coffee, Franklin, Grundy, Lincoln, and Moore Counties.
