Hospitality Roundtable

The Hospitality Roundtable exists to help prepare businesses in the hospitality industry to absorb the full potential impact of tourism-related events in our area.  They assist in the overall Tourism & Community Development Commission strategy of Strengthen-Develop-Grow.  Specifically, the Roundtable maintains lines of communication between the commission, hospitality industry leaders, and event organizers.
The Roundtable organizes industry-related training workshops, provides volunteers for community and visitor events, and helps gather data to measure the economic impact of events.
Hospitality Roundtable meets on the third Monday of the month.

Industrial Roundtable

Your Manchester Area Chamber of Commerce has facilitated the formation of an Industrial Roundtable in which plant managers, VP’s, and engineering managers from industries across the county are invited to participate.

The main idea behind the rountable is to provide a platform that brings industry leaders together on a quarterly basis to find out what goes on in each other’s facilities and provide opportunities for sharing of resources.

The chamber will periodically facilitate speakers on topics such as:
  • Advice on becoming a drug-free workplace.
  • How to build customer loyalty.
  • How to prevent turnover.

In addition to facilitating the quarterly meetings, we also connect industries with educators for collaboration on workforce needs.  We help industry professionals with opportunities to step into the classroom for presentations as well as help facilitate student tours of industry facilities.  We coordinate teacher institutes where groups of educators tour facilities to witness the highly skilled, well-paying positions that are available in Coffee County.
